C'est la période des examens et je suis quasiment sûre d'avoir raté mon partiel d'histoire (mais en même temps, se rappeler de tous ces noms d'empereurs japonais d'il y a 1200 ans...), donc je fais du shopping et du tourisme dans Paris pour me réconforter un peu, et parce que je le peux. Comme d'habitude je passe ma vie dans le Marais. J'ai trouvé quelques trucs sympas soldés, et j'attends que les prix descende pour me jeter sur les bijoux Axes Femme.
It's finals time and I'm pretty sure I failed my history exam (but I can't honestly remember all of those japanese emperor's name, especially the 1200 years old ones...), so to make myself feel better I go shopping and sightseeing in Paris, because I can. I spend my life is Le Marais as always (I've been there like three time in less than a week and half). I found a few things on sales, and I'm waiting a little bit to grab a few Axes Femme jewerly at low price.

I just need to say that I love Axes Femme and I'm really glad they opened a shop in France !

Hier j'étais au Musée Carnavalet pour aller voir l'exposition "Roman d'une garde-robe". J'ai discuté un peu avec les adorables dames du vestiaire qui m'ont demandé où j'achetais mes vêtements, je leur ai donné l'adresse de Baby, elles étaient enchantées.

Yesterday I was at Musée Carnavalet to see the "Roman d'une garde-robe" exhibition. I chatted a bit with the lolvely ladies of the cloakroom, they asked me where did I bought my clothes and I told them to go to see the BtssB shop.

L'expo était très intéressante, mais je n'ai pas été totalement convaincue et transportée. C'était majoritairement des pièces de début 1900, très Art Nouveau. Il y avait certaines robes juste magiques, on aurait dit des vêtements de fée, et d'autres très surprenantes et modernes. J'ai vu des vestes en cuir qu'on aurait dit sorties d'une défilé Gaultier. Mais de manière générale je ne suis pas une énorme fan de cette période, je préfère les vêtements très structurés et près du corps.
Altought interesting, I was not totally convinced by the exhibition. It was mainly early 1900 pieces, but really Art Nouveau. They had a few really beautiful dresses (I would definitly wear this if I was some kind of forest fairy) and some surprising ones. I've seen leather jackets which looked like today's designer work ! But overall I'm not a great fan of this fashion period, I like really structured adn fitted clothing the best.

Le musée en lui-même est un très beau lieu ! Je n'ai pas été particulièrement passionnée par les expositions permanentes (quand on parle de salles thématiques, Adré-Jacquemart est de toute façon supérieur je trouve), mais le bâtiment et les jardins étaient très beau. On a une vraie impression de grandeur et de calme difficile à trouver en plein Paris.

The musée itself is so pretty ! I was not particularly trilled by any of it's exhibitions (when it come to thematic rooms, musée Jacquemart-André is definitly the best in Paris), but both the building and garden were lovely.

Après ça, je suis allé à Princess crêpe pour le déjeuner et j'ai mangé...une princess crêpe. Je ne l'ai pas prise en photo parce que l'estomac parle absolument toujours avant la raison, mais à mon avis il y a plein de photos sur internet. Bref, en attendant j'ai pris quelques photos de la boutique. Comme il n'y avait pas d'autres clients j'ai discuté avec une des serveuses dans mon japonais plus que moyen (c'est toujours ça de pris).

After that, I went to Princess crepe for my lunch and had a...princess crêpe. Didn't shoot it because I was hungry, but you can find pictures on the internet I guess. Anyway, while waiting I took some pictures of the shop. I was alone and chatted a little bit in (broken) japanese with one of the maids.

J'adore cet endroit, mais comprenez moi, y passer trop de temps augmente drastiquement le risque de diabète.
Don't get me wrong, I like this place, but it definitly increase your risk of diabeteus just by looking at it.

En gros je sors autant que je peux, ça me distrais des examens, puisque sinon je passe ma journée à procrastiner devant des vidéos de chat ou tumblr en me rongeant les ongles. J'ai aussi prévu d'aller au musée de la Vie Romantique, et j'aimerais tester un nouveau restau/salon de thé si j'en trouve un sympa dans mes moyens. Mais attendez, il y a une nouvelle vidéo de (insérer n'importe quel youtuber) qui vient de sortir alors que je m’apprêtais à aller bosser mon cours d'histoire du Japon contemporain ? Let's go to the internet !

I basically hang out as much as I can so I'll not think about finals, because otherwise I just procrastinate, biting my nails while watching cat videos or tumblring. I planned to go musée de la Vie Romantique too, and I'd like to try a new restaurant/tea place if I can find one. But wait, there is a new video from (insert any youtuber) and I was about to go review my japanese contemporary history class ? Let's go on the internet !

I feel so sick lately, I can't sleep well and finals are next week...but fair enought, sales start today so tomorrow will be my big shopping day, and my budget is ready so I'm going to Japan next June !
It's been near ten years now since I first discovered Japan and it's culture, and I'm so happy I finally got around to go.
I'm going by myself, altought a friend of mine may come, for a month in Tokyo. I found a good 'girls only" gesthouse, I'm looking for a job for around 3 or 4 days/week to pay for my expense there. Already planned a few things to do, but I hope I can see my japanese friends and other lolitas over there. I'll just empty the 4 Closet Child shops of any Victorian Maiden/Mary Magdalene/Excentrique/Mille fleurs they might have during the month, I'm currently saving a little bit each month just for that, so these spring sales might not be super interesting for me. Anyway, here is my yesterday's coordinate :

I also took a photo of these buildings next to my flat. I think they look like boats, don't they ? The light is beautiful right now, a really aerian shimmer with white clouds trought biggers rainy grey ones.

It just make me wants to peacefully travel away.

When I was younger and wanting to escape away from my not so fun teen life, I dressed up in lolita, played Malice Mizer and made some of my favourite tea. This light and this song reminds me so much of these not so far ago afternoons, when I was drinking tea under the hazelnut tree of my parent's garden. I can almost smell the perfume of our roseraie...

Edit with today's outfit, someone asked me if my hair was a wig. Do my hair looks fake ?

I had a wonderful christmas with my family in my home town. We had so much food <3 I fell in love with a great wine :

I had great christmas present too ! A japanese cooking set and a new camera.

J'ai eu de supers cadeaux ! Un set de cuisine japonaise et un nouvel appareil photo.

Then I headed back to my flat to have a small New Year's Eve party with my roommate, her boyfriend and my boyfriend.

Puis je suis retournée à mon appartement pour fêter le nouvel an avec ma colloc, son copain et le mien.

We had way to much Champagne and wine. Also : foie gras, mon amour !

And I recieved today my new tights from Forever 21 ! I'm so glad they now have a shop in France, even if the quality isn't really good they have some awesome design.

Et j'ai reçu mes nouveaux collants Forever 21 ! Je suis super contente qu'ils aient une boutique en France maintenant, même si la qualité n'est pas géniale ils ont de super design.

I need a book bag to go with that, I want to make a "librarian lolita" look, the headbow as some cute little handwritting on it. Really simple and classic outfit, it's one of my basics everyday coordinate now.

J'ai besoin d'un sac-livre pour aller avec ça, j'aimerais bien tester un style "bibliothécaire loli", surtout que ce petit headbow à un motif écrit dessus. C'est vraiment un style simple et très classic, une de mes tenues de base pour tous les jours.
